Huge Dracaena Marginata
There are over 100 kinds of Dracaena in the world! With so many unique plants, it can be hard to find the best one for your home or office, but don’t worry – we’re here to help!
Dracaena marginata is a wonderfully resilient plant with long, slender green leaves edged with red. The leaves grow in a dense clump at the ends of the branches in such a way that they look like the backs of porcupines perched on a trunk. While the leaves look sharp and jagged at a glance, they are just as soft as normal leaves and won’t leave a scratch. Not too fussy about light and water, these plants are excellent for any level of plant parent!
Our Huge Dracaena Marginata comes in a 17” wide plastic grow pot, making it the perfect size to fill any big floor spot - from an empty corner that needs a big update to a busy common space looking for a grounding piece. Dracaenas are considered toxic to animals – keep the leaves and sap out of reach of any curious pets.
Lighting
Marginata canes prefer a bright, indirect light source. They can be happy in lower light conditions, but they won’t thrive in the same way as they would with something a little brighter. Be aware though, you'll want to keep it away from the direct sunlight, this can burn the leaves.

Watering Schedule
Water the Huge Size (17" pot) Marginata once every 3 weeks-ish, make sure that the first 3-4 inches of the soil is dry across a few spots before you water. But when you are watering, you want to make sure to water thoroughly, water the plant for a continuous 2-3 minutes or so, going across the soil very slowly. You should see some water coming down the bottom.
